About this service

This service allows you to submit an enquiry about an eligible infringement notice.

You can only submit an enquiry on camera detected offences

Eligible infringements

You can submit an enquiry for the following types of infringements:

  • Red light
  • Speeding
  • Mobile phone
  • Seatbelt
  • Driving unregistered
  • Driving uninsured
  • Dangerous goods in tunnels

Who can use the service?

  • Individual customers enquiring about a fine issued to them
  • An authorised representative of a corporation responsible for the infringement notice

Seatbelt exemptions

For seatbelt camera fines, if the driver (or a passenger) held a seatbelt exemption at the time of the offence:

  • Individual customers can use this service to notify us.
  • Organisations will need to nominate the responsible driver first. After the fine has been transferred, the driver can use this service to notify us.

Seatbelt exemptions apply for a maximum of 12 months. Find out more about seatbelt rules and exemptions.

Who handles the enquiry?

The enquiry will be sent to the Government agency responsible for the infringement notice at that time.
