Elect a court hearing
This service may be used by customers wishing to elect a court hearing for an eligible infringement notice under 12 months old. In addition to an individual, a customer may include an authorised representative of a corporation responsible for the eligible infringement notice.
An infringement notice will only be listed when it is eligible for court election.
The responsible agency will serve a summons to appear in court upon the individual or corporation. Fees will apply and you will be required to present your case before a magistrate and/or file legal documents. Find more information about disputing a fine in court.
