Apply for disability parking permit (Individual)

About this service

This online service allows you to apply for, reapply for or replace a disability parking permit (Australian or Red) for your own use or as an agent / parent / carer for an applicant. Find out more about the Queensland disability parking permit scheme.

If you need to apply for, reapply for or replace an organisation permit, you should use the Disability parking permit (Organisation) online service.

To use this service for individuals you will need:

You may be required to provide supporting documentation with your application. This supporting documentation will be different depending on the reason you are eligible.

If you are applying for a permit because of a mobility impairment, you will need to scan and attach a completed copy of Section 2 - Medical Certification of the Australian Disability Parking Permit Application - Mobility Impairment (Individual) (F4814) to apply through this online service.

If you are applying for a permit because you have been diagnosed as legally blind, you have two options. If you are a holder of one of the below cards, you may scan and attach a copy (front and back):
  • Centrelink Blind Concession Card
  • Department of Veterans' Affairs Blind Concession Card
  • Vision Impaired Travel Pass issued by TransLink
If you are not the holder of one of the cards listed above, you will need to scan and attach a completed copy of Section 3 and 4 of the Australian Disability Parking Permit - Legally Blind Application (Individual) (F5280) to apply through this online service. 

A non-refundable fee may apply to some applications.

Applications may only be made via this online service for existing customers, for example, customers with a licence or registration product or who have been issued a disability parking permit previously.
