You can use this service to check if a vehicle, trailer or boat is registered in Queensland.

You can search by registration number or vehicle identification number (VIN). You cannot search by chassis number for vehicles, hull identification number (HIN) or serial identification number (SIN) for boats.

You cannot use this service to:

  • access the name on the registration or other personal details recorded
  • check details about a registration that has been cancelled or transferred out of Queensland
  • check if a vehicle has had damage that caused it to be listed as a write-off, has debt attached to it or has been stolen. See Personal Property Securities Register for more information.
