Apply for Alcohol Ignition Interlock Exemption

About this service

This service allows you to apply for an exemption from installing an interlock in a nominated vehicle.

You can apply for an exemption up to 6 weeks before your drink driving disqualification period ends or once your interlock program starts.

If you have been granted a restricted licence (work licence) by a court, you can apply straight away.
