This service allows you to book and pay for your vehicle inspection.
Only vehicles requiring programmed inspections can be booked through this online service. Contact Transport and Main Roads to arrange other types of inspections, such as:
From 20 April 2024, some vehicle inspections will no longer be performed directly by Transport and Main Roads. Check if you can use this service to book your inspection before continuing.
Light vehicle inspections can no longer be booked through this online service or by contacting Transport and Main Roads. Please find an Approved Inspection Station (AIS) and contact them directly to book an inspection.
If the certificate of inspection (COI) expires before the inspection date, it is the registered operator's responsibility to arrange an extension of time to operate the vehicle. Transport and Main Roads can only issue an extension within 2 months of the COI expiring, unless inspections are affected by a natural disaster or other exceptional circumstances. To arrange an extension of time, please message us or call 13 23 80.
To avoid delays in obtaining your certificate of inspection, please book your inspection as soon as you receive your renewal notice. You can also check your COI expiry date and set reminders by using the free QLD Rego Check app. Download the QLD Rego Check app using App Store or Google Play.
Note: Your booking is not confirmed until you have paid and received your transaction receipt from this online service. Your booking may be cancelled if not confirmed within 30 minutes. If you are unsure if this transaction has been completed please contact us to confirm.
