This service allows you to book and pay for your vehicle inspection.

From 20 April 2024, some vehicle inspections will no longer be performed directly by Transport and Main Roads. Check if you can use this service to book your inspection before continuing.
Light vehicle inspections can no longer be booked through this online service or by contacting Transport and Main Roads. Please find an Approved Inspection Station (AIS) and contact them directly to book an inspection. Light passenger vehicles between 3.5 and 4.5 tonne can be inspected by the National Heavy Vehicle Regulator (NHVR) or an AIS.
If the certificate of inspection (COI) expires before the inspection date, it is the registered operator's responsibility to arrange an extension of time to operate the vehicle. Transport and Main Roads can only issue an extension within 2 months of the COI expiring, unless inspections are affected by a natural disaster or other exceptional circumstances.
